Privacy Policy

SportzCal ("we", "us") provides sports schedule calendars converted to your local timezone. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store:

• Your first name and email address
• Your timezone preference
• The teams you've saved to your account
• Your subscription status, if you have a Season Pass

We do not collect or store your payment card details — all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To generate your calendar files and live calendar feed
• To send you email updates when a saved team's schedule changes (Season Pass only)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To respond to support requests you send us

Third parties we use

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run SportzCal. Each only receives the data it genuinely needs to do its job:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication
• Stripe — processes all payments; handles your card details directly, we never touch them
• Resend — sends the transactional emails you receive from us (schedule updates, etc.)
• TheSportsDB — the source of real fixture data behind your calendars; no personal data is shared with them
• Google (Ads & Analytics) — if you arrive via a Google Ad, we track that a purchase happened and its value, so we can measure whether our advertising is working. We do not share your name or email with Google for this.

If you email our support address, we may use an AI system to help draft a reply. A human always reviews and sends the actual reply — the AI only prepares a draft, and it never sends anything on its own.

Your data, your control

You can update your timezone and remove saved teams from your account page at any time. To delete your account entirely or request a full export of your data, email support@sportzcal.com and we'll handle it directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SportzCal after a change means you accept the updated policy.
